NFL Week 9 Preview

The Ryan twins face each other, the Panthers look to continue rolling against the division rival Falcons, and the Bears look to end their losing against the Packers on Monday Night Football. Let's preview Week 9!

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Miami Dolphins
Thursday October 31, 2013 8:25pm
NFL Network -- Brad Nessler, Mike Mayock

The Bengals are rolling, and the Dolphins are the complete opposite. Still, this isn't as easy a prediction as people will make it out to be. I believe the Bengals will come out on top, however.

Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
FOX -- Thom Brennaman, Brian Billick

The Panthers have played the Falcons well even when the Falcons were a very good football team. Now, the Falcons are struggling and the Panthers are playing well right now. I'm going with the team playing well right now.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
FOX -- Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

The Vikings are struggling right now, but everyone seems to maginify the problems the offense is having. Sure, Josh Freeman stunk up the Meadowlands and Christian Ponder didn't play well against the Packers. However, their defense hasn't done anything this year, and playing in Dallas, they will get shredded to pieces again.

Twin brothers Rex Ryan and Rob Ryan will go at it when the
Saints and Jets face off at MetLife Stadium.
New Orleans Saints vs. New York Jets
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
FOX -- Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch

The Jets have not lost consecutive games so far this season, but this will be the first time. The Ryan brothers will go at it again, but it'll be Drew Brees who handles a pretty good Jets' defense all game.

Tennessee Titans vs. St. Louis Rams
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
CBS -- Marv Albert, Rich Gannon

The Rams' defense played well against the Seahawks, but they couldn't generate much offense with Kellen Clemens as quarterback. Against the Titans' defense, expect much of the same.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo Bills
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
CBS -- Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf

This game could go either way, despite the fact that the Chiefs are undefeated. They're due for a loss, and I believe it could come here. The Bills aren't that good, but they aren't that bad either. I'm predicting an upset.

San Diego Chargers vs. Washington Redskins
Sunday November 3, 2013 1pm
CBS -- Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts

Even though the Redskins aren't very good, I doubt the Chargers will be able to come from the West Coast and win. However, I doubted them when they had to play in Philadelphia also. I was wrong. I think I'll be right this time.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Oakland Raiders
Sunday November 3, 2013 4:05pm
FOX -- Chris Myers, Tim Ryan

Nick Foles returns as the starter since Michael Vick isn't able to play. That isn't necessarily a good thing. Inconsistent quarterback play has doomed Chip Kelly's offense. It doesn't help they have to stop Terrelle Pryor from running all over the place.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Seattle Seahawks
Sunday November 3, 2013 4:05pm
FOX -- Kenny Albert, Daryl Johnston, Tony Siragusa

Simply put, the Buccaneers have no shot in this one. The only thing that'll keep this from a huge blowout is the fact the Seahawks are struggling on the offensive line due to injuries. However, Mike Glennon will not do much against the Seahawks' defense.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 3 Seattle Seahawks 31

Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns
Sunday November 3, 2013 4:25pm
CBS -- Kevin Harlan, Solomon Wilcots

I'm taking an upset in this one because the Ravens just haven't shown me anything this year. Also, the Browns aren't that bad. In the first game these two teams played, the Browns' defense was on point until the fourth quarter. I believe they can play well again.

Rob Gronkowski and the Patriots will look to handle Ryan Clark
and the Steelers at home on Sunday.
Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New England Patriots
Sunday November 3, 2013 4:25pm
CBS -- Jim Nantz, Phil Simms

Many people may look at the Steelers' struggles and assume the Patriots will win this game easily. However, Tom Brady is having his worst season in recent memory, and the Patriots haven't been all that dominating in their wins. I don't think the Steelers will pull off the upset, but this game will be closer than most people think.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Houston Texans
Sunday November 3, 2013 8:30am
NBC -- Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth

The Colts have been the kings of the AFC South since the division was invented in 2002, when the Texans joined the league. However, the Texans won the division for the second consecutive season last year, and it was looking like they could be at the top of the division again with preseason expectations. However, they have fallen on hard times with bad quarterback play, and the Colts seem to be rising to the top of the AFC South again. A win in Houston will be a division statement.

Brandon Marshall and the Bears have been dominated by the
Packers in recent memory. They'll look to change that.
Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers
Monday November 4, 2013 8:40pm
ESPN -- Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden

These two teams don't like each other, but the Bears have nothing on the Packers. The Bears don't have Jay Cutler either, but I don't think it would've mattered.
